Sambo, not her real name, is one of our beneficiaries who lost her job during the COVID-19 outbreak. When our social workers found out about her situation, we were able to provide a support package to cover her basic necessities. Although we cannot show you her face, Sambo would like to express her gratitude to everyone who made this possible.
With the help of our partners we have implemented an emergency intervention supporting vulnerable women and their babies during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the increasing pressures faced by the already vulnerable women, these support packages have given them encouragement and hope to get through this crisis. Thank you for your continued support.
Here's to all the mothers out there, especially to the mothers in our care, and to every body who has taken on the challenge of bringing up children in whatever circumstances.
